About The Role
Our Infrastructure Services – VIC Electricity team are growing and have a new position for a Field Manager who will be responsible for the on-site supervision and coordination of works being delivered to the electricity infrastructure services across Victoria.
Reporting to the Manager, this role supports the safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of field works through effective management, scheduling coordination (with managerial support), site inspections, and field validation of completed works and contractor claims.
This is a permanent full-time position based from our Dandenong South Depot with site travel required and offering flexible working environment.
Other responsibilities as required:
- Supervise and manage the delivery of electricity infrastructure works across multiple sites and where they integrate with Ventia internal workforce.
- Act as Ventia’s on-site representative, providing operational direction and guidance.
- Monitor performance against scope, schedule, safety, quality, and client requirements.
- Escalate performance issues and risks to the Manager as required.
- Coordinate workforce onsite to meet project schedules.
- Adjust schedules in response to network access, safety, or operational priorities.
- Liaise with internal teams and contractors to align delivery.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, electricity safety regulations, and Ventia systems.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.
- Verify inductions, licenses, competencies, and safety documentation.
- Report and assist with investigation of incidents and hazards.
- Inspect completed works against specifications and standards.
About You
The successful applicant will experience as a Field Manager ideally within the Electricity space accompanied with:
- Experience managing Field based teams
- Excel Intermediate to Advance skills
- Strong analytical skills to problem solve
- Good understanding of processes, standards and compliance relevant in the field
- A Drivers licence
