Do you want to work alongside one of Australia’s top-performing coal-fired power stations? Millmerran is a leader in the industry, processing 11,000 tonnes of coal daily. Ventia provides operational and preventative maintenance services to the Millmerran Power Station, which generates 870MW of electricity, powering over 1 million homes. We’re looking for skilled Mechanical Fitters to join the team and ensure the plant runs smoothly through hands-on maintenance and equipment replacements. Want to make the most of your work-life balance? This is a full-time opportunity with a flexible 4 days on, 3 days off roster.
What We Offer
- Condensed full-time work week into a 4-day roster (6am–5pm, Monday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Friday)
- Hourly Rate: $55.81

About You
- Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting, Diesel Fitting or Equivalent
- Demonstrated industry experience
- White Card
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, or Heavy Diesel background
- Previous experience in Coal and Ash handling or similar environment (highly desirable)
- Confined Spaces Training, Working at Heights Training, Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Ticket, High Risk Licence
