We’re looking for a bold, thoughtful, and culturally responsive leader to champion our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and bring it to life across the organisation.
About the role
In this high-impact leadership role, you will own and drive the end-to-end delivery of RAP and Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow (YTT) strategy from design through to implementation, reporting, and continuous improvement.
You’ll work alongside senior leaders to turn strategy into action, build accountability, remove barriers, and unlock opportunities that deepen our contribution to Reconciliation.

What you can expect with this role
You’ll lead the development, implementation, and continuous evolution of our RAP and YTT strategy, bringing it to life across the organisation and embedding it into business as usual. You’ll influence at the highest levels, partnering with executives to drive accountability, track progress, and deliver meaningful outcomes.
You’ll design and oversee strong governance frameworks, including RAP Steering Groups and sub-committees, while supporting the Program Director to deliver strategic priorities, manage risks, and ensure compliance.
Leading a high-performing team, you’ll inspire through coaching and capability building, fostering a culture of excellence and purpose. You’ll champion culturally responsive practices, build genuine relationships that elevate Aboriginal voices, and deliver impactful initiatives such as NAIDOC Week celebrations.
Above all, you’ll stay curious, constantly seeking new ideas, new perspectives, and better ways to strengthen impact and embed Reconciliation across everything we do.
Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for great talent with:
- Deep knowledge of Reconciliation nationally and at a state level
- Proven experience in RAP strategy development and delivery
- Strong leadership capability, with experience managing and inspiring teams
- Experience leading governance groups, steering committees, and stakeholder forums
- A genuine commitment to cultural responsiveness and respectful engagement
- Confidence influencing senior leaders and driving organisational change
- A proactive, curious mindset focused on impact and continuous improvement
