Electrical Design Engineer – Telecommunications

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Critical Infrastructure – Telecommunications (Aura) team.
You’ll play a key role across the full project lifecycle, supporting the design and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects within a multidisciplinary team environment.
This role is initially based full-time in our Perth CBD office, with flexibility available post-probation including up to 3 days working from home and the option to work from our Canning Vale office.

The Role
- Develop electrical designs (LV and DC systems)
- Prepare bill of quantities and cost estimates
- Interpret and work from CAD drawings
- Support construction teams during project delivery
- Maintain as-built drawings and project data
About You
- Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Experience as an Electrical Engineer or Designer
- Strong knowledge of low voltage and DC systems
- Experience preparing BOQs and cost estimates
- Confident interpreting technical/CAD drawings
- Advanced MS Excel skills
Desirable:
- Experience in telecommunications, infrastructure or renewables
- Understanding of Australian standards and compliance
- Exposure to Power Apps, MS Access or automation tools
- Knowledge of solar, battery or LV/HV systems
You’ll also hold a driver’s licence and be open to occasional travel.
