In this role you will take ownership of the full bid lifecycle, working on strategically important opportunities that help shape Ventia's future growth while delivering innovative solutions for our customers.
Reporting to the Lead Bid Manager, you'll lead the planning, development and delivery of complex tenders, proposals and EOIs, working closely with operational, technical, commercial and executive stakeholders across the business.

About the Role
As Bid Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in securing new business and strengthening Ventia's market position. You'll be empowered to manage opportunities end-to-end, develop winning strategies and produce compelling submissions that clearly articulate Ventia's capabilities and value proposition.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of tenders, proposals and EOIs
- Managing bid programmes, governance and submission schedules
- Developing pursuit and submission strategies aligned to customer requirements and business objectives
- Coordinating and refining high-quality written responses, executive summaries and presentations
- Facilitating workshops, reviews and stakeholder engagement activities throughout the bid lifecycle
- Managing clarifications, quality reviews and submission readiness activities
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across bid processes, tools and templates
- Ensuring compliance with Ventia governance, client requirements and quality standards
Required Skills and Experience
We're looking for a resilient, commercially minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with diverse stakeholders, from technical specialists through to senior leaders. Ideally your experience lies in Infrastructure or Telecommunications environments.
You will bring:
- Solid experience in bid management, tendering or work-winning within a complex business environment
- Demonstrated experience managing tenders, proposals and EOIs across the full bid lifecycle
- Strong bid planning, stakeholder management and project coordination skills
- Exceptional writing, editing and document review capabilities
- The ability to develop persuasive, client-focused and compliant submission content
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Familiarity with AI tools and technologies
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
