Currently, we have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven professional to join the Brand & Customer Strategy team as a Content - Team Leader.
About the role:
Lead and develop a team of four content producers while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day planning, creation, optimisation and publishing of content. This is a hands-on role that combines people leadership with content delivery, requiring you to work directly on content projects, develop content strategies, analyse performance, and create high-quality service and brand content across multiple channels. You will be responsible for shaping and implementing omnichannel content strategies, maintaining content governance and standards, and championing customer experience and best-practice publishing approaches.
Stakeholder engagement is a key aspect of the role. Working closely with subject matter experts and colleagues across the business, you will develop clear, engaging and customer-focused content that meets user needs and supports business objectives. From planning and writing content through to publishing and optimisation, you'll play an active role in delivering content that informs, engages and improves the customer experience.

What you can expect with this role:
- Plan, prioritise, and allocate work across the content team, ensuring resources are effectively aligned to different content pillars, business priorities, and delivery timelines while maintaining a consistent customer experience and content quality.
- Coach and train the team to maintain high content standards, and ensure content is delivered in line with industry best practices.
- Build and foster a safe, inclusive, and high-performing team culture where individuals feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute, collaborate, and grow.
- Establish yourself as trusted authority within the business in the strategic development and publishing of brand and service content, as part of a content centre of excellence. This includes advocating for customer-focused content and working proactively with stakeholders to advise on content best practice and channel suitability.
- Utilise customer insights and analytics e.g. VOC, CVS, web content and systems data to identify customer information needs and solve pain points, for continuous improvement.
- Lead the planning, production, coordination, and optimisation of brand and service content across digital and print customer content (written, audio, visual and interactive) with a heavy focus on website publishing.
Your skills and experience:
- A tertiary‑level qualification in digital experience, marketing, communications or a related discipline.
- Considerable experience in developing and coordinating engaging written and visual content across a variety of print and digital platforms, informed by interpreting analytics and reporting insights.
- Strong digital literacy, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and an understanding of how to apply website accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1.
- Relevant experience using content management systems (CMS), such as Sitecore.
- Leverage user research and analytics to make data‑driven decisions to frame, structure and optimise content across multiple channels.
- Work as part of the wider Marketing & Digital section, collaborating with content specialists and business stakeholders to deliver customer-centric content aligned with our brand voice, identity and content governance frameworks.
