About the Role
You will report to the Site Manager and play a key role in coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities across multiple Defence locations. Working closely with supervisors, technical teams and production staff, you will ensure maintenance work orders are effectively planned, scheduled, monitored and delivered to meet operational requirements.
This is a fast-paced position that requires strong attention to detail, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Other responsibilities include –
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities and work programs through SAP systems
- Monitor progress and support performance reporting requirements
- Liaise with Defence customers and internal stakeholders regarding daily/weekly/monthly maintenance requirements
- Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure documentation and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain compliance with Ventia safety, quality and environmental standards
Required Skills and Experience
Experience working within a maintenance, defence, industrial or asset management environment will see you succeed in this role.
- Experience in scheduling, planning or coordinating maintenance activities
- Solid Microsoft Office skills (SAP S4 Hanna – highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem solving and organisational abilities
- Good team player with a positive and can do attitude
