Join the Sydney Roads and Asset Performance portfolio as an ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) Maintenance Planner in Arndell Park.
In this role, you will coordinate the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities across a major infrastructure program, supporting effective resource allocation, reporting and decision-making. You’ll also monitor key milestones to ensure works are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate daily scheduling, resource allocation, and workload forecasting for ITS maintenance and field activities.
- Plan and manage ITS maintenance programs, including planned maintenance, upgrades, fault response, incidents, and repairs across roadside electrical and electronic assets.
- Ensure Work Orders are accurately scoped, resourced, scheduled, and delivered within required timeframes while minimising customer and network impacts.
- Monitor KPIs and ensure contractual, performance, and service-level obligations are consistently achieved.
- Build effective relationships with Delivery, Environmental, Customer & Stakeholder Teams, field staff, Work Supervisors, NDH, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare cost estimates, resource forecasts, schedules, and work plans for maintenance and project activities.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, resource utilisation, and service delivery.
- Support the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of ITS works in accordance with contractual, regulatory, client, and organisational requirements.
About You
- Solid experience in planning and scheduling, ideally across a combination of asset maintenance, site-based and office-based environments.
- Proficient in utilising scheduling and planning systems. Experience with asset maintenance industry-standard software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship management skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with a strong willingness to learn, contribute and work effectively within a team environment.
