About the role
We have a 1 year fixed term opportunity joining our Asset Management Services team. In this role you will create technical documentation, including manuals and work instructions in support of the capital program. You’ll be responsible for providing products and services to effectively deliver Asset Requirements and Asset Handover functions to the wider business. This role will be based in our Leederville office, reporting to the Team Leader - Asset Requirements.

What the role will involve
- Key focus of this role is to produce reports and technical writing products including Operations manuals and work instructions.
- Develop, maintain, and follow standard templates and forms in support of the delivery of technical documentation relating to Water Corporation assets.
- Support the delivery of fit for purpose assets through the Asset Requirements process to provide measurable asset performance and quality criteria for asset investment.
- Engage with asset delivery, operations service providers and project teams to establish and agree on project requirements.
- Support the Asset Requirements team activities, services and products through the Asset Acquisition Process [AAP] to enable the efficient delivery of the capital program.
- Liaise with Project, Engineering and Operational teams to produce technical documentation in support of capital projects.
- Conduct post-delivery reviews of assigned infrastructure asset projects.
- Support the continuous improvement of the Asset Requirements and Handover processes, guidelines and procedures.
Key skills and experience
You’ll have a qualification in a relevant scientific field, or engineering field along with experience in water industry infrastructure and operations. Your facilitation, technical report writing, excellent stakeholder management and ability to facilitate project delivery and the continuous improvement will ensure success in this role. In addition, knowledge of quality management practices and asset acquisition / handover processes.
