Opportunity
At Olympic Dam, Ventia need Entry Level Operators to play a vital role in supporting the BHP smelter’s operations. You’ll be operating Moxie dump trucks, Water carts and fuel trucks managing the movement of bulk materials like slag, sand, water and fuel, all while upholding the highest safety standards.
This is a permanent role with a standard 2-weeks-on, 1-week-off roster. Each swing typically includes one week of day shifts followed by one week of night shifts. Ventia provides return flights from Adelaide to Roxby Downs, along with accommodation while on site. You’ll receive six hours of paid time on travel days and work 12-hour shifts while on site. Local living can also be discussed

About the Role
- Operate heavy equipment including dump trucks, Water carts and fuel trucks. On the job training provided.
- Opportunity for the right candidates for on the job training for Slag haulers, excavators, loaders, mobile crushers, MTS, and integrated tool carriers.
- Perform: loading, unloading, relocating, and distributing materials.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and site regulations.
About You
We’re looking for Entry level operators with:
- HR (or higher) Driver’s Licence. (Required)
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, safety-conscious attitude.
- Willing and able to complete an in clinic medical (including drug and alcohol testing) and obtain a clean police check.
