About the Opportunity
Ventia delivers the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) for the Government of South Australia, providing essential facilities services across more than 5,000 sites and 48 Government Agencies. We are seeking a knowledgeable, detail driven and collaborative Technical Compliance Manager to ensure all registered plant and high risk manufactured water systems across our portfolio meet relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
This permanent full time role, based in South Australia, plays a critical part in maintaining asset safety, integrity and compliance under the AGFMA contract. You will work closely with regulators, councils, government agencies, contractors and internal teams to oversee registrations, licensing, maintenance planning and compliance reporting, helping Ventia continue to deliver safe, compliant and customer focused services.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all registered plant and high risk manufactured water systems have current licences, registrations and certificates, including renewals and new asset registrations.
- Work with the Planning Team to ensure maintenance plans align with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert compliance advice to internal teams, agencies and facility managers.
- Support data validation, reporting and the identification of service gaps or improvement opportunities.
- Leverage technology and best practice methods to enhance compliance and registration processes.
- Build strong relationships with regulators, councils, agencies and contractors to support effective compliance outcomes.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management or Engineering, or equivalent experience in a technical or risk focused environment.
- Strong knowledge of statutory, WHS, environmental and risk management requirements.
- Experience managing a large asset portfolio within facilities, asset or compliance environments.
- Strong business skills, including data analysis, financial awareness and solid computer literacy.
- Understanding of work planning, scheduling and compliance processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) is highly regarded.
