About the Opportunity
Ventia delivers the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) for the Government of South Australia, providing facility management services across more than 5,000 government owned sites. We are hiring an experienced Asset Data and Performance Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team and drive excellence across asset data governance, performance insights, and preventative maintenance planning.
Based in our Wakefield Street office in the Adelaide CBD, this permanent full time position plays a critical strategic role within the Asset & Planning function. You will oversee the integrity of contractual asset information, deliver the monthly preventative maintenance program, and lead the development of data driven strategies that improve asset performance and support evidence based decision making across the AGFMA.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of planners, technical specialists and analysts to ensure accurate, compliant and up to date asset and maintenance data across the AGFMA portfolio.
- Oversee and enhance asset information systems, including SAP and other enterprise platforms, ensuring data integrity, system accuracy and strong integration across functions.
- Design and maintain data governance frameworks, quality assurance processes and internal KPIs to ensure consistent, reliable and timely asset record management.
- Analyse asset performance data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities, turning insights into practical strategies that support evidence based decision making.
- Deliver the monthly preventative maintenance program in line with the Annual Strategic Delivery Plan (ASDP), ensuring compliance, service continuity and ongoing optimisation.
- Drive digital transformation and automation initiatives to improve data quality, streamline processes and reduce manual effort across asset and maintenance workflows.
- Lead the development of reporting and performance insights using tools such as Power BI, JIRA and Excel to support strategic asset planning and client engagement.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Asset Management or a related discipline (preferred).
- Leadership experience managing technical, analytical or planning teams within asset or facilities management environments.
- Strong understanding of asset management principles and full asset lifecycle practices.
- Demonstrated experience working with SAP, including configuration and data integrity management, with confidence using tools such as JIRA and Power BI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high quality documentation and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem solving capability, with a focus on data driven decision making.
