About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our Australian Finance team in Perth. This pivotal role is responsible for delivering high‑quality financial analysis, reporting, and strategic insights across the Australian region that will lead financial insight and deliver operational performance.
As the region’s lead expert in analysis and reporting, you will partner closely with senior leaders, operational teams, and the global FP&A organisation to ensure informed decision‑making that supports both short‑ and long‑term business goals.
In this key role, you will:
Lead regional financial and KPI analysis, delivering accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to stakeholders.
Manage core financial cycles, including annual budgeting, long‑term planning, and monthly/quarterly forecasting and reporting.
Oversee operational reporting and forecasting workflows, ensuring accuracy, consistency, efficiency, and alignment with corporate expectations.
Assist the Australian region with analysis of complex business options or decisions and assist in the preparation of financial models and business cases to support new initiatives and major projects.
Represent the Australian region within Alcoa Corporate FP&A, contributing to the development and implementation of standardised reporting processes.

What you can bring to the role
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance, supported by CA ANZ or CPA membership.
Extensive experience in finance or commercial roles within mining, manufacturing, or oil & gas, demonstrating strong leadership and problem‑solving capability.
Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams, and collaborate confidently with senior management.
Strong analytical and technical finance capability, with the proven ability to resolve complex issues and apply sound judgment in reporting and analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, complemented by strong organisational skills, time management, and adherence to financial processes.
A flexible working approach with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams in different time zones with occasional regional travel when required.
