We are seeking an experienced HV Transmission Lines Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for transmission line construction and minor capital works projects. Ideally, you’ll be based in Sydney, but we welcome applicants anywhere in Australia.

About the role:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing schedules for HV transmission line and minor capital works projects
- Review scopes, specifications, drawings and tender documentation
- Develop cost build‑ups, pricing strategies and risk allowances to optimise competitiveness and margin
- Coordinate RFQs and engage suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing
- Ensure SHEQ, risk and governance requirements are embedded in all estimates
- Participate in risk and opportunity workshops and tender reviews
- Support tender programmes, approvals and handover documentation
About you
You are commercially astute, detail‑driven and experienced in estimating HV transmission line projects in complex delivery environments. You have:
- A qualification in Electrical Engineering or a relevant electrical trade background (preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of HV transmission lines and related infrastructure
- Proven experience in cost estimating, pricing strategy and commercial risk assessment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (e.g. CATS, Pronamics, Expert Estimation)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
