These positions support the development of engineering solutions for environmental remediation projects, including tender responses and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) activities. We are inviting applicants from Sydney or Melbourne ideally; however we will still consider your application if you’re outside of these cities.

About the roles
Due to recent project wins and increased demand, we are expanding our capability and seeking individuals with strong technical knowledge, practical remediation experience, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Both roles contribute to developing project scopes, methodologies, pricing inputs and technical documentation for remediation and environmental engineering projects, working closely with technical, design, commercial and operational teams to ensure feasibility, compliance, risk management, and alignment with client requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing engineering solutions and methodologies for tenders and ECI projects
- Coordinating technical inputs and subcontractor information
- Identifying project risks, opportunities and sustainability considerations
- Preparing programmes, cost inputs and proposal documentation
- Supporting early-stage project delivery where required
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, internal systems and safety‑in‑design requirements
- The Senior Project Development Engineer additionally provides broader leadership, may oversee junior engineers and offers enhanced support during ECI project delivery.
About you
Project Development Engineer
- Demonstrated experience in civil or environmental remediation project delivery, or consultancy project management.
- Experience developing remediation methodologies or contributing to tender/ECI processes.
- Tertiary qualifications in civil, environmental, or related engineering discipline.
- Strong coordination, problem‑solving and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Senior Project Development Engineer
As above, plus:
- Demonstrated experience developing project solutions and leading elements of ECI or tender submissions.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership within the project development function.
- High level of technical competency and commercial awareness.
