About the role
Reporting to the General Manager - People and Safety Group, this permanent role is one of three highly regarded people partners within our People leadership team. A true business partner, you provide strategic people insights, planning and advice to executives and senior leaders across a defined stakeholder portfolio, enabling your customer groups to deliver a high-performance culture where people are empowered to do their best work in an organisation that puts their health, safety, and wellbeing first.
About you
Joining a highly specialised team, you will be working across a variety of strategic projects and initiatives, providing expert advice, coaching and support to executives and senior leaders so that we develop the leadership, capability, culture and performance required to deliver on our people strategy. Your success in this role will be underpinned by your significant previous experience as a contemporary HR Practitioner, including a strong track-record in coaching and advising executive leadership teams.
Championing a continuous improvement mindset, you will use data and insights to identify strategic people opportunities, challenges, and risks. You’ll collaborate widely across the Corporation to leverage centres of excellence and evaluate industry best practices to craft fit for purpose solutions and embed new ways of working.
You’ll be degree qualified in Business and/or Human Resources and/or substantial experience in strategic partnering, including providing coaching and advice at senior and executive level in large and complex businesses.
In addition, you have extensive experience in:
- Leading strategy and execution of enterprise people and culture transformation
- Aligning organisational design, structure, roles, and capabilities to drive performance, change and growth.
- Designing and deploying enterprise HR programs to achieve measurable business outcomes.
- Leading a small team of embedded HR team members
Most importantly, you will be a highly experienced, strong, collaborative leader, who role models the organisational values and behaviours that contribute to a high performing, inclusive culture in a large, complex organisation.
