Salary: $110k–$130k (including super), dependent on experience and capability
About the Role
Ventia is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to support ongoing projects within our Resources Business, with a primary focus on Rig & Wells Services (RWS). A key focus of the role will be the preparation, pricing and submission of scope changes and variations across active contracts, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and client expectations.
The role will be predominantly based in our Perth office, particularly during onboarding, to support collaboration and engagement with internal stakeholders. There may be potential to transition to a hybrid arrangement over time, subject to business requirements.
This role may require infrequent travel, including:
- Site visits to build operational understanding
- Occasional interstate travel to engage internal and external stakeholders
Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Ventia site teams, support functions and clients
- Prepare, review and administer variations, scope changes, claims and EOTs, including cost build-ups and contractual submissions
- Manage end-to-end contract administration across assigned projects
- Support procurement activities and subcontractor negotiations
- Manage contract securities, insurances and change control processes
- Provide project reporting, risk identification and commercial advice to the Commercial Manager
- Support contract reviews for new tenders and internal governance requirements
- Monitor KPIs, analyse variances and implement corrective actions
- Proactively identify and address process or system non-conformities
About You
- Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator, ideally within the Resources sector
- Degree in Business, Commerce, Law or similar (desirable)
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret and negotiate contracts
- Proactive problem-solver with a resilient, team-focused approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Highly organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with SAP, Ariba or Power BI desirable
