Ventia is seeking a Scheduler to join our Defence Maintenance Contract (DMC) team based at Palmer Barracks in Guildford. This is a hands on role supporting the coordination and delivery of maintenance activities within a structured, well established environment.

About the Role
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will support the scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities, working closely with Planners, Technical Supervisors and client stakeholders to ensure work orders are completed on time and to standard.
Your day to day will include:
- Scheduling labour and resources against maintenance work orders
- Assisting with balancing workloads across current and backlog jobs
- Monitoring parts, materials and due dates to help avoid delays
- Updating and maintaining schedules within the Commonwealth Maintenance Management System
- Supporting maintenance planning activities and attending production scheduling meetings
- Liaising with stakeholders on daily, weekly and monthly requirements
- Assisting with maintenance reporting and progress tracking
- Supporting the identification and resolution of scheduling issues
About You
You are organised, reliable and comfortable working in a structured maintenance environment. You take pride in accuracy, communication and keeping things on track.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Experience in scheduling, planning or coordination (maintenance or asset environments preferred)
- Exposure to working with trade staff, parts and maintenance workflows
- Comfortable using maintenance systems (SAP experience is advantageous but not essential)
- Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Clear communication skills and good attention to detail
- A willingness to learn existing systems and processes
Due to the nature of our client, you must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance.
