About the Role
Ventia is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to support our Defence and Social Infrastructure team.
Reporting to the P&C Business Partner, this role provides broad generalist support across key areas including contract mobilisation, performance and change management, workforce planning, employee engagement, learning and development, recruitment, and career and talent management.
This position is well suited to an emerging P&C professional or recent graduate looking to build their capability and gain comprehensive experience within a dynamic and supportive environment.
This is a Permanent Full-Time position based out of our Cremorne, Victorian office.
Other Role Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of People Plans by coordinating activities, tracking progress, and providing administrative assistance to enable delivery of business objectives.
- Contribute to a positive and high-performance culture by coordinating engagement initiatives, maintaining accurate records, and supporting delivery of people programs.
- Provide first-level support for ER queries by guiding employees to policies and escalating complex issues to the Business Partner.
- Support change initiatives by preparing communications, tracking actions, and coordinating training or briefing sessions.
- Provide administrative support for IR activities, such as preparing documentation and maintaining accurate records of meetings and agreements.
- Assist with data collection and reporting to support workforce planning initiatives.
- Liaise with People Services, Payroll, and other P&C functions to ensure timely resolution of queries.
About You
To be successful in your application, you will have a Certificate IV in business, HR or related field, ideally with experience working within the P&C space.
You will also possess:
- Have a general understanding of Employment Law, HR Policy, Change Management and Talent Management
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and have good panning and organisation skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
