As our Asset Maintenance Planner, you’ll take ownership of planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance and project works across the network. You’ll work closely with Maintenance and Asset Management teams, using data-driven insights to optimise performance and reliability.

Key Accountabilities
- Plan and schedule maintenance via AIMS; issue work orders.
- Coordinate scheduling, lookahead, and closure meetings to manage risks and contractors.
- Track KPIs and conduct audits to ensure compliance and performance.
- Support and train staff in AIMS/Maximo use.
- Align maintenance with technical plans and asset strategies.
- Liaise with Asset Management and Capital Works on scope and delivery.
- Contribute to asset and maintenance plans.
- Manage closures, including quarterly shutdowns and reporting.
- Lead safety initiatives and Toolbox Talks.
- Prepare performance reports and analyse asset condition.
About You
- A tertiary qualification in engineering or a related construction discipline is desirable.
- Proven experience in a similar planning and scheduling role, particularly within preventative maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate, schedule, and facilitate meetings with both internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and operational staff.
- Previous exposure to road or tunnel maintenance and/or construction activities is ideal.
- Strong experience in interface risk management is essential.
- Working knowledge of asset management systems (e.g. IBM Maximo) and application of ISO 55000 principles.
- A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience preparing reports for internal management and clients.
- Familiarity with auditing frameworks and compliance assurance processes.
- Hold a valid Class C driver’s licence.
- Availability to work 3–4 night shifts per quarter to support tunnel closure works.
- Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) is advantageous.
