About the Opportunity
Ventia delivers the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) for the Government of South Australia. We are hiring a proactive and detail driven Communications Coordinator to support the delivery of internal and external communications across the AGFMA program.
This is a permanent full time position based in our Adelaide CBD office, working closely with the Communications & Engagement Advisor. The role plays an important part in developing engaging content, coordinating newsletters, supporting events, and maintaining AGFMA SharePoint pages and digital channels. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone with strong writing skills, excellent organisation, and a hands on approach to supporting a wide variety of communications activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Content & Communications: Draft, edit and publish content across internal and external channels; support briefs, fact sheets, posters and presentation materials; contribute to delivering the communications calendar.
- Newsletter Coordination: Manage end to end newsletter production, including sourcing stories, writing content and coordinating formatting and distribution.
- SharePoint & Digital Channels: Maintain and update SharePoint pages; support the administration of internal digital platforms to ensure accurate, user-friendly content.
- Event & Engagement Support: Assist with planning and delivering town halls, workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions, including logistics, run sheets and supporting materials.
- General Communications Support: Respond to ad hoc requests, assist with media monitoring and content tracking, and ensure all communications align with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Skills and Experience
You are a proactive communicator with strong writing ability, high attention to detail and a collaborative approach. You’re comfortable working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities in a fast paced environment. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating content for digital and/or print channels.
- Good working knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 tools, plus confidence using digital communication platforms.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and stakeholder requests.
- High attention to detail, a customer focused mindset, and experience supporting communication or marketing activities.
- Exposure to government, facilities or infrastructure environments and basic graphic design capability e.g. Canva, Adobe Express. (Highly regarded)
