About the Role
- Develop and maintain master schedules aligned to an approved Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), ensuring activities are clearly defined, logically sequenced and reflect current scope
- Capture progress, update schedules and report variances to baseline, including look-aheads and dashboards for decision making
- Analyse critical / near critical paths, identify delays, test assumptions and provide mitigation options
- Safeguard schedule data integrity (correct WBS mapping, coding, calendars) and maintain controlled change records
- Work hands on with project managers, engineers, commercial and site teams to verify logic and ensure schedules reflect construction reality
- Support continuous improvement of planning tools, processes and reporting standards
Required Skills and Experience
It is essential that you have sound scheduling experience in construction (capital projects) ideally across substations and transmission lines, renewables / BESS (Battery Expansion Storage Systems) exposure is a plus.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 / MS Project
- Strong Excel / spreadsheeting
- Comfortable building schedules from first principles – interpreting client documentation, engaging SMEs and iterating to submission ready quality
- Strong communicator able to partner with multi-disciplinary teams and produce clear. Timely reporting
- Working knowledge of SAP or maintenance planning systems and labour and resource planning experience would be advantageous
