We are seeking a motivated Junior HV Estimator to support substation construction and minor capital works. Ideally, you’ll be based in Cremorne, Melbourne however we welcome applicants from Adelaide, Sydney or Brisbane.

About the role
Working closely with the Senior HV Electrical Estimator, you will assist in producing accurate, compliant and competitive estimates. This role is ideal for an early career professional looking to build a long term career in HV estimating within the energy and renewables sector.
Furthermore, you’ll:
- Review scopes, specifications, drawings and schedules for HV substation projects
- Prepare quantity take‑offs, bills of materials and pricing inputs
- Assist with cost build‑ups, pricing schedules and tender deliverables
- Prepare RFQs and coordinate supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Ensure SHEQ requirements and risk considerations are included in all estimates
- Maintain estimating tools, templates and cost databases
About you
You are detail focused, analytical and keen to build your technical and commercial capability within high voltage electrical infrastructure. You will bring:
- A qualification in Electrical Engineering or a relevant electrical trade background (preferred)
- A developing understanding of HV systems, substations or energy infrastructure
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with estimating software (e.g. Expert Estimation, Pronamics or CATS) is desirable.
