Ventia’s Transport Infrastructure Solutions business is seeking an experienced Senior Asset Engineerto join the team.
The Senior Asset Engineer provides technical leadership for road asset performance, lifecycle planning and maintenance prioritisation. The role supports informed decision‑making to optimise asset condition and long‑term network outcomes.
You will work with inspection, planning and delivery teams to translate asset data into practical maintenance strategies.
This is a permanent full-time position and will be based out of our Dandenong office.
Role responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership for asset condition assessment and performance
- Support lifecycle planning, treatment strategies and maintenance prioritisation
- Review inspection data and defect trends to inform decision‑making
- Provide technical advice to planning and delivery teams
About You
To be successful in your application, you will have:
- Engineering qualification
- Significant experience in asset management or road infrastructure environments
- Strong analytical, technical and problem‑solving skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel
