Ventia’s Western Power contract continues to grow, and we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team.
This role suits someone who has delivered projects within Western Power networks, ideally across civil and construction works, and can manage projects end-to-end in a live environment.
About the role
You’ll be responsible for delivering construction and maintenance projects across Western Power’s transmission and distribution network, taking projects from planning through to completion.
You’ll work closely with field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to make sure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key responsibilities
- Manage projects from planning through to delivery and closeout
- Coordinate civil and/or HV/LV infrastructure works within Western Power networks
- Manage field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resourcing
- Monitor progress and manage variations
- Build and maintain relationships with Western Power and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all work meets HSEQ requirements
We’re seeking a qualified and professional Project Manager who brings a strong track record, relevant expertise, and a collaborative mindset to the team, along with:
- Background in civil, construction, utilities, or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of Western Power standards and processes
- Experience managing subcontractors and site-based teams
- Solid commercial awareness (budgets, forecasting, variations)
- Able to manage multiple priorities and keep projects moving
- Relevant qualification in Engineering or Construction (preferred)
