About the role
In this permanent role, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved with high-level strategy, learn what technology a business needs, and quickly ramp up your skills to take on more interesting work.
Acting as a strategic partner between business units and technology teams, ensuring alignment of business objectives with technology solutions. This role is responsible for building strong executive relationships, driving portfolio management, and enabling transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business value.

What the role will involve
Executive & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive and senior management across the designated portfolio.
- Engage senior leaders to uncover problem context, key drivers, and desired business outcomes aligned to corporate and business strategy.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders through clear, timely updates at the right cadence.
Portfolio & Transformation Management
- Collaborate with the Transformation Office and Business Planning teams to manage portfolio outcomes:
- Prioritise initiatives, sequence activities, and manage dependencies and risks.
- Support application lifecycle management uplift through:
- Application Assessment
- Business Impact Analysis
- Application tiering
Collaboration & Service Excellence
- Run discovery workshops, journey mapping, and value stream sessions to clarify outcomes.
- Advocate for knowledge management, automation,
- Partner with BAU teams and business units to clarify expectations and service outcomes and proactive service metrics aligned with Experience Level Agreements (XLAs).
- Drive improvements in operational practices and promote a culture of proactive service delivery.
Key skills and experience
- You’ll have a Technology (IT/OT), Communications, Business Analysis or Business discipline degree, or considerable experience developing relationships across all levels of management including C-suite, excellent demonstrated communication skills, understanding what people really need and influencing people to take the right course of action.
- You’ll know how technology impacts a large / enterprise-type business. You don’t have to be a developer or a coder, but you’ll have that top-down view on how tech impacts people, processes, and other systems.
- You’re curious and you’ve a desire to learn lots of new things. This role will give you the opportunity to work on a variety of cool projects. Your inquisitive nature will help you evolve with an ever-changing technology landscape.
- Desirable skills and knowledge around project management lifecycle fundamentals, Agile work practices and awareness of ITIL based service delivery process.
