About the role
Ventia’s Finance team is seeking a full‑time Senior SAP Risk & Security Analyst to support our SAP Security Assurance function. Based in Cremorne, VIC (or any major state), this role ensures the integrity, accuracy and risk governance of SAP data, access, and controls across Ventia’s SAP landscape.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead data remediation activities across SAP ECC and BTP, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance.
- Manage and analyse role, access and data integrity issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Deliver daily reporting on Segregation of Duties (SoD), Sensitive Transactions and associated mitigating controls.
- Investigate and remediate SoD and Sensitive Access risks, improving data quality and role design processes.
- Maintain and enhance Ventia’s GRC solution (Soterion), including ruleset updates and control optimisation.
- Partner with IT, business stakeholders and external providers to resolve data and access issues efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to uplift the risk, control and data governance environment, aligned to frameworks and best practice.
About you
You bring experience in data remediation, risk analysis or SAP security within a large or complex organisation, ideally in infrastructure or Defence‑related environments. You also have:
- Strong understanding of SoD, Sensitive Transactions and data remediation practices
- Advanced analytical capability to interpret data across multiple systems and translate insights into action
- Experience delivering end‑to‑end remediation or risk projects within governance frameworks
- Exposure to internal/external audit, risk management and compliance
- Knowledge of IAM, SAP authorisations, ERP data structures and GRC processes
- Ability to work flexibly within a small, high‑performing team
All Ventia Defence contract roles require Australian Citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
