Our Ventia Graduate Program is designed to turn potential into performance. This tailored two-year program provides practical experience across diverse, live projects through four structured one on one rotations. You will gain exposure across Infrastructure Services, Telecommunications, Defence & Social Infrastructure, and Transport projects, gaining exposure to a range of industries and project environments.
Over two years, you'll develop core skills in project planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery while contributing to meaningful business outcomes. Supported by experienced professionals, senior mentors, and a dedicated graduate buddy, you'll be guided every step of the way as you gain real work experience and make a real impact across the communities and industries we serve.

To be eligible for the Ventia Graduate Program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Successfully completed relevant undergraduate degree in the last two years or be in your final semester of study.
- Hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship, Permanent residency, or Graduate Visa 485 (valid until the end of 2028).
- Willingness to travel and relocate for the duration of the rotation.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects in line with agreed objectives and timelines.
- Apply project management fundamentals to assist with project execution and outcomes.
- Build capability in stakeholder engagement, scheduling, and risk management practices.
- Monitor project progress and contribute to accurate reporting and status updates.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to achieve project goals and deliverables.
- Identify, escalate, and help mitigate project risks with support from senior project leaders.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Adaptable, resilient, and accountable, with a proven ability to deliver outcomes in dynamic environments.
- Curious and proactive problem solver with an innovative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Exposure to project based work through internships, parttime roles, university projects, or similar experiences is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated initiative through leadership, extracurricular activities, self directed learning, certifications, competitions, or personal projects is highly regarded.
